TRJOLLNIR || Ultraheavy Thor Hammer

Caution! Not made for humans!!

Relentlessly dense, inhuman in heft, this is a tool not created for mortal hands. Rather, much closer to something fit for a god.

This is Trjollnir.
Forged of two solid masses of South American Purpleheart, each 2" thick and spectacularly heavy all by themselves, but also further weighted with 1" thick steel rods embedded within, the head alone becomes a monstrous block of solid and unrelenting mass.
American White Oak forms the stout haft, thicker and wider than human hands would find a fit, and further bolstering the number on the scale by its own right.
Central African Wenge, naturally incredibly dense, takes its place as the high contrast accents at the throat of the haft and the pommel of the hammer, adding not only a boom of colour, but its own respectable amount of bulk as well.

This troll's take on the fabled Hammer of the Thundergod takes its place of veneration as one of the genuinely mythic additions to the armoury.
Holding it, its presence speaks clearly. It tests the worthiness of its owner, who may or may not also be called its wielder. One's merit is for the hammer to decide.

TRJOLLNIR measures a great total of 10.5" / 26cm wide,
by 19" / 48cm long,
with 6" / 15cm of leather-wrapped grip at the end of the haft,
before ending in its dense pommel.
