The iconic forward flare, the broad symmetrical double edge, the coming into a devastating point; this troll's take on the masterful balance and bewitching blade geometry of the Hispaniensis style Roman Gladius is an ode and love letter to this ancient symbol of glory, power, and the thundering of a hundred thousand sandals at march.

This reverent recreation is hewn of mighty North American Hickory, a stout and hefty hardwood fit to boast the strength and resilience of an epoch that stood the test of centuries. It is fitted with a Black Walnut guard and pommel, sanded to a fine polish, oiled, and finished with natural shellac, exuding opulence in its deep, dark hues. A richly coloured deerskin wrap at the grip, offering tactile suppleness and a comfortable give to the grasp of the hand, counterbalances this tool of brutal conquest with composure and esteem.
Each element bound into a single whole, this sword houses the spirit and collective will of a entire civilization echoing through history and mythology.
