Yōkai is but a whisper in the twilight, unseen and elusive, a silent strike of ethereal sheen.
It cuts through the darkness much like the very geometry of its blade, uncomplicated, and as straight to the point as its own kissaki.

Blade of Red Oak, hilt fittings of Black Walnut, the balance of these two elemental and contrasting woods exerts an echo of the equilibrium necessary within one's mind to execute techniques to the highest of ability.
Its grip, spun in supple burgundy leather, secures itself tightly within the hand of the wielder, ensuring draws are smooth and quick, and strikes fluid and precise.

Focused will, concentrated, achieves all things. This sword seeks to embody this simple truth plainly and nobly.

-A blade of sleek and light Red Oak
-Hilt fittings of Black Walnut
-Supple 4oz leather wrap about the grip
-Boiled linseed oil to awaken the colours
-A double-seal coat of natural shellac

Yōkai measures 36" / 92 cm in total length,
led by a 26" / 67cm long blade,
with 6.5" / 16cm of grip at the hilt.
