Hersir || Norse Viking Sword

The commander who rises to the call, the Hersir.
This tri-lobe double edge viking sword honours the loyalties of kindred - who when beckoned, answer to fulfill all oaths with valor and bravery.

This piece was designed to conjure forth one's inner leadership, be it in battle or in the homestead and surrounding environs. A symbol of integrity and courage.
Double edged, reflecting the dual nature of its wielder - both warrior and leader. It tells the tale of loyalty, legacy, and wisdom.

-A blade of mighty Hard Maple
-Hilt fittings of Black Walnut
-Supple 4oz leather wrap about the grip
-Boiled linseed oil to awaken the colours
-A double-seal coat of natural shellac

The Hersir measures 35" / 89cm in total length,
led by a stout 28" / 72cm long blade,
with 4" / 10cm of grip at the hilt.
