Legends tell of a mighty ancient general by the name of Guan Yu from the 3rd Century AD, and ballads sing of his extraordinary strength, supernatural skill, and near-invincibility on the battlefield. This formidable instrument of war engineering, was his famed weapon, which he named the Green Dragon Crescent Blade - The Qing Long Yan Yue Dao.
An implement of such great power and ferocity, it is in absolute propriety that its name bears the word Dragon.

A massive arcing behemoth of a blade at the head, and a punishing cross between mace and spear at the tail, with nearly six feet of haft in between the two, the great Guan Dao is no armament for the feint of heart. This imposing leviathan is built in homage and with great reverence to the epics of dynastic warfare, to the remarkable designs conceived of this nation's architects of arms, and to the legendary arts of martial masters throughout China's long and magnificent history.

EMPEROR is forged to represent the pinnacle of power and mythic strength, and its timbers contained reflect its toughness.
European Beech forms the heart of this mighty polearm from end to end, imbuing this piece with tremendous strength-to-weight property, and an immaculate grain.
The haft is reinforced with stout Red Oak, laminated on each side for both its exceptional structural support, and for the flaming pattern traveling across its entire length, permeating the Guan Dao with the spirit of dragonfire.

In typical fashion for Trollkarl polearms, this piece comes segmented in halves for ease of shipping, and ready to assemble into its full glory. Precision fit joinery links the halves tightly, while the laminates reinforce the connection in a fashion fit for a lifetime of service.

EMPEROR measures an absolutely colossal 6' 6" / 201cm in total length,
with a blade head 19" / 50cm long and 7" / 17cm wide,
the mace head measuring 7" / 18cm long and 3.5" / 9cm wide,
and 52" / 133cm of haft in between.
