Lore

A shape immortalized in time - the Niuweidao, single edged broadsword of fame and folklore.

Its design is unambiguously that of a heavy cutter. Its prominent forward swell drags mass near the point, a profile made ideal for rolling slashes and sweeping gashes, paired with guards which not only deflect but also redirect.

Few items represent so dinstinctly the craftsmanship of traditional Chinese combat arms. Unique and instantly identifiable, martial artists around the world recognize this icon of Gongfu instantly, as well as the masters of the Shaolin and Wushu schools who wield it.
Watching it in flight, such emphasis placed on technique and form, it is clear this is no crude implement of hack & slash. This is a sword that dances, taking flight through the air, its every movement meant to flow into the next. The very essence of this sword is to swim, and to put its formidable blade to bear as a rolling defensive barrier, which in the next mere moment uncoils into the sweeping cut of a mighty tiger.
